TEGO® Antifoam MR 465 is an antifoam based on organo-modified siloxanes for foam control in non-aqueous media.
TEGO® Antifoam MR 465 is used as an antifoam component in the production of additive packages for diesel fuel. Furthermore, TEGO® Antifoam MR 465 may be used for foam control in various other non-aqueous applications, e.g. lubricants.
Resulting from its special modification TEGO® Antifoam MR 465 outperforms conventional products for the formulation of diesel additive packages in many respects.
Efficiency in dry and wet fuel TEGO® Antifoam MR 465 reduces substantially and reliably both, foam collapse time and initial foam height.
TEGO® Antifoam MR 465 maintains its outstanding performance performance even in wet fuel and after a storage time of the treated fuel exceeding 4 weeks.
